Kimono chest, generally speaking clothing chest dansudansu
Japanese chest, generally speaking piece of furniture for a storage purpose (kimonokimono
Traditional Japanese clothing chest) in 1 part. The large chest is covered with a thick urushiurushi
Traditional Japanese lacquer, also called "Japan" in English coat and weighs 60 Kg.
This 120 cm wide chest (san jaku) allows you to put in order 3 of you critical equipment (or at least this was the case back to MeijiMeiji
Period from 1868 to 1912 era...):
Beautiful sakurasakura
Cherry flower color glossy lacquer finish (cherry flower, a delicate pinkish white). Eventhough the sakurasakura
Cherry flower colour is widely used in Japanese art and style, it is difficult to make this coulour with traditional lacquer, and is therefore little used in lacquered objects. Our lacquer craftsman has found the right "recipe" and brings us here a very unique piece of furniture: original and refined at the same time. It will fit classic interiors as well as contemporary / modern ones.
The large hardware is dark grey, for a strong contrast on the sakurasakura
Cherry flower lacquer with peony design, symbol of youth and transience.
Each drawer is individually adjusted to allow maximum air tightness (important in Japan where humidity is high, to protect precious kimonokimono
Traditional Japanese clothing).
The drawers and the door can be locked (one key).
